These pieces also titled Assembly Required are inspired by the title of the show and the process I have been employing in my work recently. Instead of casting an edition of the figure like usual I decided to use a Mattel Vac-U-Form, with parts accidentally shifting around between pulls leading to unique variations within the edition. The form is from a generic figure my father uses at the beginning of the sculpting process to flesh out an assortment of characters.
